Director, Mortgage Finance
Bernie Krock is a Director at Sandler O’Neill Mortgage Finance L.P. Mr. Krock’s experience within the residential and commercial lending industry spans 39 years in a variety of roles. He has been a project manager on agency securitizations (residential properties and co-ops), and on sales of performing and nonperforming loans on both residential and commercial properties.
Prior to joining Sandler O’Neill Mortgage Finance in 1994, Mr. Krock has worked for Union Planters Bank, Leader Federal Savings & Loan, First Southern Federal Savings & Loan and First Mortgage Strategies Group. Mr. Krock was a Project Manager at First Mortgage Strategies where he oversaw projects on agency securitizations, RTC MBS, student loan sales, performing and nonperforming loan sales and contract for deed sales. At Union Planters and First Southern, his duties included secondary marketing, pricing and loan purchases and sales.
Bernie received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Memphis and a Degree of Distinction and Diploma of Merit from the Institute of Financial Education. He is a former president of the Memphis chapter of the Institute of Financial Education and was an officer in the Mobile chapter. He has held various offices of the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity, University of Memphis Alumnae.
