Jonathan J. Doyle is Senior Managing Principal of Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. Mr. Doyle oversees day-to-day operations of Sandler O’Neill, the largest independent full-service investment banking firm focused on the financial services sector.
Mr. Doyle also plays an active role in many of the firm’s key client relationships. He works with senior management of financial institutions to develop detailed programs and strategies tailored to overall corporate planning and strategic goals, including balance sheet restructuring, capital raising, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Doyle is an industry leader in designing and executing recapitalization transactions for depository institutions, raising over $1.7 billion in public offerings and private placements since 2009. Additionally, he has raised over $2.1 billion through limited partnerships to fund startup banking platforms.
Sandler O’Neill employs about 300 professionals in its various business units, is a market maker for approximately 425 financial stocks, and writes research on over 300 companies. In addition to its New York headquarters, Sandler O’Neill has established offices in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, and an affiliated mortgage finance company in Memphis.
Mr. Doyle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The College of William & Mary. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the China Business Initiative (CBI) at the Jerome A. Chazen Institute of International Business, Columbia Business School, Columbia University. He serves on the Boards of Directors of The College of William & Mary Foundation, The Governor’s Academy, the parish of Byfield, Mass. and the New York’s Finest Foundation. He is an active supporter of numerous children’s charitable organizations.
