Murray G. Bodine

Murray G. Bodine joined the San Francisco office of Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. as a Principal in 2004. His responsibilities include merger and acquisition and capital financing advice to banks, thrifts, insurance companies and financial sponsors. Before joining Sandler O’Neill, Mr. Bodine was a partner at JGE Capital Management, a privately-owned hedge fund. Prior to his work at JGE, Mr. Bodine had an 18-year investment banking career working with financial institutions in the Western United States. During that time, he completed over 80 merger and acquisition transactions and was involved in numerous capital financings.

His investment banking experience includes Managing Director roles in the San Francisco offices of RBC Capital Markets, where he served on the capital commitment committee, First Security Van Kasper, where he served on the executive committee and Hoefer & Arnett, Inc., where he served as co-head of investment banking. He began his career at Bank of America in San Francisco, where he was a Vice President in the world banking division and the capital markets group.

Mr. Bodine received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Babson College.
